BLUF Military Benefits (BMB) was founded by Jeff
(Current CEO), an Air Force Captain, with a passion for helping fellow U.S.
military families better understand and learn about
many opportunities that often go unrealized.
To date, the team refers to Jeff, a stellar Board of Directors, a core group of family and friend supporters, and a few invaluable military veteran freelance writers.
Director - Morgan is an AD Air Force Data Scientist with a passion for helping military families both inside government such as through the WIT (Women's Initiative Team) and outside sharing valuable resources through our website and social media.
Director - Eduardo is a prior-enlisted security forces member, USAFA grad, and currently an AD Air Force officer with a passion for sharing FIRE (Financially Independent Retire Early) and rewards point hacking to service members.
Director - Kirk is a well decorated Army veteran having served over 20 years in the special forces community and has a passion for helping transitioning service members
Director - Patty is a food science technical
writer and Navy spouse eager to help fellow spouses optimize their benefits

Our site was created in August 2018, life happened, and we officially kicked it off in Nov 2019. Since then we have expanded to multiple Social Media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest)
We incorporated as a Nonstock corporation
in in the state of Virginia in May, 2020.
We received IRS 501(c)(3) status in June, 2020
July 2020 we received the GuideStar Gold
Level of Transparency
To differentiate us from other for-profit sites, we have recently expanded beyond written
articles to easy to digest Infographics and Videos.
50% of all donations go directly to our Donation
Fund that will given to a Military Family in Emergency Financial need at the end of the
year.
We are currently in the process of kick-starting
our Grant Application process.
Our goal with the grant funding is to be able
to hire freelance veteran or military spouses to create 10 additional website articles
or resources by July 2021
